Diademed Roman-style male head to left; to left, small draped Byzantine-style bust facing; above, ‘Ḥusām al-Dīn malik Diyārbakr’ (‘Husam al-Din, King of Diyarbakr’ in Arabic). Rev. Citing the Ayyubid al-Nasir Salah al-Din Yusuf (AH 564-589 / AD 1169-1193) as overlord in four lines and in margins, ‘al-Malik al-Nāṣir / Ṣalāḥ al-Dīn / muḥyī dawla / amīr al-muʾminīn / Yūsuf / ibn Ayyūb’ (‘King al-Nasir Salah al-Din, reviver of the government of the Commander of the Believers, Yusuf, son of Ayyub’ in Arabic).
